Ghislaine Maxwell is looking to appeal her sex trafficking conviction according to a report by the MailOnline.
The report reveals that she is hoping to overturn her conviction on the basis that ‘inhumane’ treatment in prison left her unable to mount a defence.
Ms Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year sentence for recruiting and trafficking underage girls for the late paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

She was held in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn where she claims she was left sleep deprived and exhausted.
According to the MailOnline report, her appeal will suggest that this was the reason she chose not to testify at her trial.
Ms Maxwell has always protested her innocence and in an interview in jail admitted that she wished she had never met Epstein.
But when she passed the sentence Judge Alison Nathan described the crimes Ms Maxwell was convicted of as horrific.
