TV and film makers are often regarded as a nuisance, particularly when roads and buildings have to be closed, and people are diverted from the scene, while the cameras roll.
But there is clearly money in this business - and Oxfordshire has not been making the most of the opportunities.
Plans are afoot to appoint a dedicated film officer to attract more production companies to the county, a move which could net an extra £1m.
If there is money to be made, let us have it in our coffers.
