The organisers of Wallingford Carnival have announced a date as the event returns in-person for the first time since the covid pandemic.
The annual event - which sees a procession weave through the town and features market stalls, live music, and a fun fair - will return on Saturday, June 17.
Since 2020, the event has been held under the name 'Wallingford Carnival at Home' with residents encouraged to decorate their front garden or windows.
But in January this year, the organisers ran an online survey asking residents if they would like to see the event held in-person.
The results were revealed on Saturday as it was announced the event would return in-person with the theme of “What a Wonderful World.”
It follows themes of previous years including “Musicals”, “Heroes and Heroines” and “The Circus.”
