A man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon after an argument at a petrol station.
Following an altercation between two van drivers at the Shell garage on Swan Close Road, Banbury, this morning, a 26-year-old man has been arrested.
A police spokesperson has asked anyone who witnessed the incident to please call Thames Valley Police via 101 quoting reference 43230088096.

The Sentencing Council, which issues guidelines on sentencing to courts, has on its website: “Possession of knives and offensive weapons encourages violence and can lead to serious injury and death, as well as facilitating other criminal offences.
“It is, therefore, an offence to carry a knife or an offensive weapon in a public place, even if the person carrying it claims they were not intending to use it.”
