Leaving a review on Trip Advisor, Danni C said: “Visited on a Friday night, glad I prebooked as it was very busy and had a queue for tables.

“There was an extensive menu including vegetarian and vegan options.

“The food was delicious, and the service was very attentive and friendly, but a special thanks to Claudia.

“I would definitely return.”

Also on the list, we have Banana Tree, on George Street.

The restaurant offers a variety of different cuisine, including Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai and Malaysian, with vegetarian friendly dishes.

A visitor from outside Oxford, named Joan And, commented: “I have visited Banana Tree with my friend and we both enjoyed the lovely food.

“All staff were helpful and friendly, including the manager who was helping, as it was a very busy Saturday evening.

“I will definitely go back on my next visit to Oxford.”

Next on the list is Thaikhun, also in George Street.

Thaikhun is an animated restaurant decorated with tuk-tuks, lanterns and Thai ornaments.

One diner, Sarah Pell, said: “We had a meal at this restaurant before seeing a show at the Oxford theatre and we loved it.

“We don’t have Thai food very often so it made a nice change and it didn’t disappoint.

“We had one of the platters to share which meant we could try a good range of the dishes.

“The portions were big, so we definitely felt full afterwards.”

The final restaurant on this list is Bangkok House, which diners can find on Hythe Bridge Street, in oxford.

Gemma, who ate at the restaurant two weeks ago, said: “Gem of a restaurant. Considering we have both lived in Oxford all our lives, we were really surprised we haven’t been here before.

“Incredible food, great service, and really enjoyed the experience.”
