Bus drivers and cyclists vowed to make Oxford's busy roads safer last night.
More than 50 people met at The Regal in Cowley for the launch of Bikes and Buses, a DVD commissioned by cycling campaign group Cyclox.
Cyclox chairman James Styring said the evening was a great success.
He said: "Nothing scares a cyclist more than the whoosh of air when a bus passes too quickly and too close.
"Or a bus overtaking and pulling straight back in again, forcing the cyclist up the kerb.
"Nothing annoys a bus driver more than a cyclist, at night and without lights, swerving into the path of a bus without signalling or even looking."
He vowed to continue fighting to improve the relationship between bus companies and the city's thousands of cyclists.
