BUS drivers and cyclists vowed to make Oxford's busy roads safer.
More than 50 people met at The Regal, in Cowley Road, last night for the launch of Bikes and Buses, a DVD commissioned by cycling campaign group Cyclox.
Cyclox chairman James Styring said the evening was a great success.
He said: "Nothing scares a cyclist more than the whoosh of air when a bus passes too quickly and too close.
"Or a bus overtaking and pulling straight back in again, forcing the cyclist up the kerb.
"Nothing annoys a bus driver more than a cyclist, at night and without lights, swerving into the path of a bus without signalling or even looking."
He vowed to continue fighting to improve the relationship between bus companies and the city's thousands of cyclists.
