MARTIN WRIGHT, 44, of De Montfort Court, Brackley, admitted driving a BMW i3s on the A41 at Bicester while under the influence of alcohol. He blew 47mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath; the legal limit is 35. He was fined £576, banned from driving for 14 months and ordered to pay £315 in costs and surcharge.

JOAO GUEDES, 30, of Fieldfare Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to drink driving a grey Ford Focus on Watlington Road. He was more than three times the legal drink-drive limit. He was given 120 hours of unpaid work, was banned from driving for 52 months and must pay £199 in costs and surcharge.

KRYSTIAN GORSKI, 38, of Torridge Drive, Didcot, admitted drink driving a Vauxhall Astra on the A4130 at Didcot. He had 41mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was fined £120, banned from driving for a year and must pay £133 in costs and surcharge.

DARREN GEE, 50, of Hailey Road, Witney, admitted drug driving a VW Polo in St Clements Street. Tests showed he had cocaine, benzoylecgonine and diazepam in his blood. He was banned from the roads for 40 months, given a nine month drug rehabilitation requirement and ordered to pay £85 in costs.

CHRISTOPHER MERTHA, 32, of Acacia Close, Carterton, admitted stealing Grey Goose vodka and a packet of sweets from the Heyford Hill Sainsbury’s last November and failing to surrender to court on November 27. He received 14 days’ imprisonment.

CAMERON EVANS, 29, of Stowford Road, Oxford, admitted two common assaults, a battery and possession of cocaine in Oxford on December 15. He was jailed for 20 weeks and ordered to pay £200 in compensation.

ALRAYAN MOHAMMED, 23, of no fixed address, admitted damaging a wardrobe, curtain rail, mirror, wall and lamp at the Best Western Hotel in Buckingham. The magistrates imposed a six month conditional discharge and ordered the payment of a £26 victim surcharge.

CHLOE MAUGHAN, 20, of Cardigan Street, Luton, pleaded guilty to stealing a padded jacket worth £182 from the Tommy Hilfiger store in Bicester. She was fined £100 and ordered to pay a £40 victim surcharge.

ERGYS IBRAHIMI, 31, of Alice Smith Square, Oxford, admitted driving a silver Vauxhall Insignia on Garsington Road in January while disqualified. He was in breach of a suspended sentence and was said to be ‘trying to run away from the police’. The district judge jailed Ibrahimi for 14 weeks and imposed a two year driving ban.

MOHAMAD HAMZA, 20, of Liverpool Road, Reading, pleaded guilty to assaulting a prison officer in November 2021. The court record noted that he had spat at the female officer. He was given 20 weeks’ imprisonment.

JAHANGIR ALI, 53, of Walter Bigg Way, Wallingford, was found guilty of assault a woman by beating her. He received a community order with a curfew and up to 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days. He must abide by a one year restraining order. He must pay a £95 victim surcharge.

JAHANARA JUME, 43, also of Walter Bigg Way, Wallingford, was found guilty of assaulting the same woman on the same date. Jume received a community order with up to 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days, a 12 month restraining order, and must pay £395 in costs and surcharge.

CHARLOTTE MAYO, 31, of Broad Oak, Oxford, admitted stealing £80 worth of meat from the Co-op. She was ordered to pay £40 in compensation, was banned from going to the Co-op at 42 Walton Street, Jericho, for three months, and must complete an alcohol treatment requirement and up to 25 rehabilitation activity requirement days with the probation service as part of an 18 month community order.
