A new Chinese restaurant has opened its doors for the first time in Oxfordshire today.

The Four Seasons restaurant has had its “soft opening” today at 65 London Road in Headington as they welcome new customers.

To celebrate its opening the restaurant is giving the first 30 walk-in customers each day between February 17 and 23 a 50 per cent discount.

A spokesperson for the Four Seasons restaurant: “We are looking forward to serving our delicious authentic Cantonese roast meats and classic favourites to the people of Oxford.

"To celebrate our opening we are offering 50 per cent off the first 30 orders that walk-in to our shop each day between February 17 and 23."

The Chinese restaurant opened its first UK branch in 1990 in Queensway, London.

They now have six restaurants in London and one in Leicester as its Oxford branch becomes its eighth in the UK.

The Four Seasons’ Shanghai branch had success five years ago as it was included in Shanghai Michelin Guide 2018 as one of the Bib Gourmand restaurants, which looks for the best value for money menus.

In 2010, the Four Seasons' roast duck was also praised by the Financial Times as being the “best roast duck in the world”.

The new Oxford branch is open from Monday to Sunday between 11:30am to 9pm.
