I’ve seen defendants being sick in court.
I myself have felt quite green-gilled in a courtroom. But I’d never seen a juror being sick in court until this week.
Part way through the trial of Alan Thompson at Oxford Crown Court on Monday, a grey-faced member of the jury quickly apologised, stood up, then ran for the door leading to the jury room.

Play resumed around 20 minutes to half an hour later when an exam hall-style desk had been erected for the sick juror some metre-and-a-half to two metres from his colleagues.
Fair play to him, though, he stuck it out.
