A driver has been arrested for driving without a driving licence or insurance, and testing positive for cannabis and cocaine.
Police stopped the vehicle in Banbury last night (Thursday, February 9), and after the driver was found to have no documents and failed a drug wipe for cannabis and cocaine, they were taken into custody.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said at the time: “The driver now has a cloud over them while they await their blood results and court date.”
Five days ago, traffic officers from Thames Valley Police’s roads policing unit were called to reports of a man asleep at the wheel thought to be a drug driver.
The officers said the call to Littlemore initially came through as a ‘welfare report’, after a man was spotted asleep in the driver’s seat.
When officers arrived, however, the vehicle was driven off.
