Terrifying creatures have been brought back to life at Fairytale Farm.

The family visitor attraction recently opened its Dino Valley area and is devoting a week to roar-tastic dinosaur fun for February half-term with a Once Upon a Dinosaur event.

There will be the resident life-size dinosaurs in Dino Valley and kids can uncover fossils in Dino Dig.

Then they can meet the Dino Trainer Ranger and Dino Hatchling before learning the Dino Stomp in the Dino Disco.

Oxford Mail:

For those who like to be creative, they can invent a dinosaur in our Cretaceous Craft Marquee.

Children can also become a Dinosaur Detective with Jurassic Trail activities.

Farm owner Nick Laister said: "Fairytale Farm is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2023 and we wanted to start off the year with something really special - something we have never done before.

"Oh yes, and if you come dressed for the occasion you will receive a sweet treat on arrival!"

No special tickets are required for this event; just book standard admission tickets to gain entry.

There are also other indoor activities this half-term with the heated Rapunzel’s Kingdom soft play area, an indoor sandpit and Mother Goose’s Garden Party display.

You can also enjoy a coffee, a locally baked cake or a hot meal in the Beanstalk Cafe.

And all of 2022's new attractions will be open.

These include the undercover animal petting area, Musical House where you can try various musical instruments and a new combine harvester in the Huff & Puff Adventure Playground.

Once Upon a Dinosaur is open every day from Saturday February 11 to Sunday February 19 2023. Fairytale Farm is at Southcombe, Chipping Norton, OX7 5QH. Tel: 01608 238014.
