ENGLISH lecturer Heather O'Donoghue is among the judges for this year's Duncan Lawrie Dagger, awarded by the Crime Writers' Association for the best crime novel.
Dr O'Donoghue, who lives in East Oxford, is a specialist in Old Norse and medieval literature, as well as being crime fiction reviewer for The Times Literary Supplement.
The world's largest prize for crime fiction will be announced at the awards dinner in London on Thursday, July 10.
