A NEW ability swing has been installed at a park in Didcot.
Didcot Town Council recently installed the brand-new ability swing in Loyd Recreation Ground.
The swing enables wheelchair users to use a swing, without the need to leave their chair and is only accessible using a RADAR key.

The swing is the first of its kind in Didcot, and only second one in Oxfordshire.
It was part funded by South Oxfordshire District Council’s councillor community grants, S106 funds and community infrastructure levy monies and has become a welcome addition to the town council's inclusive play equipment.
As with all the town council's owned and managed play parks in Didcot, the authority urges users to ‘not litter and be aware that dogs are not allowed in the play areas’.
