I am sick and tired of those who tell me, after I have bought anything: "You could have got that for a fiver less on the Internet".

Is it cheaper when you consider the monthly cost of being on the Internet, let alone the firewall costs? The benefit of the Internet is somewhat diminished. It's all smoke and mirrors.

When the lights go out in the UK, thanks to New Labour's dithering on the building of new nuclear power stations, the Internet will be one of the first casualties. Then the young will know what real change is. Welcome to the 19th-century, kids.
