Vandals threw bricks at an Oxford fire station causing hundreds of pounds worth of damage.
Police were called to The Slade Fire Station, in Headington, at 9.20pm on Wednesday, June 4, after receiving reports of youngsters throwing bricks at it.
A training vehicle's windscreen was damaged and four of the station's windows were also smashed in the attack.
The damaged vehicle will now be out of action for several days while a new windscreen is ordered.
Training manager Richard Bowley said: "Firefighters have a difficult enough job without having to put up with moronic behaviour like this, which has damaged our operational capabilities as well as costing hundreds of pounds to the taxpayer."
The youths were seen by a firefighter running away from the scene before the police arrived.
