A gang armed with knives forced their way into an Oxford massage parlour and threatened staff before stealing cash.
Police were called to the Kitten Club massage parlour in Cherwell Drive, in Marston, at around 10.30pm on Saturday night.
Three or four men had knocked on the door of the massage parlour and when it was opened, they pulled out knives and forced their way in.
The men, all thought to be black, threatened the four women and one man in the property and demanded they hand over all their money and mobile phones.
A police spokesman said: "The men stole a substantial amount of cash and four mobile phones. They then left the scene in a car, but we don't have any details on that.
"We are appealing for any witnesses to come forward if they saw anyone suspicious hanging around the property or if they saw the men leaving."
The massage parlour was raided in February this year by two men, and police said they are not ruling out the possibility that the two events are linked.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Det Sgt Kev Elkins on 08458 505 505.
