Attorney general Victoria Prentis said in the House of Commons that the UK is “starting to turn to thoughts of reparations” with regards to the conflict in Ukraine.
Speaking in an oral questions meeting at the House of Commons today (Wednesday, February 1) Victoria Prentis said: “At the moment the international community is rightly focused on prosecution for war crimes.

“I think that is the right focus because we hope that we will, by so doing, have a good effect on the behaviour of those fighting this conflict at the moment.
“We undoubtedly are starting to turn our minds to reparations, and there is a great deal of work going on within government as to how we best support the Ukrainians to do that.”
