Drivers in and around Oxford will have seven National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• A34, from 8pm January 11 to 6am January 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 both directions Peartree to Botley, carriageway closure for structures maintenance, diversion via local authority network.
• A34, from 8pm January 9 to 6am January 29, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 both directions Botley to Peartree, carriageway and lane closures for structures maintenance, diversion via National Highways and local authority network.
• A34, from 8pm December 2 2022 to 6am March 11 2023, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 northbound, Botley to Peartree, carriageway closure for structures maintenance, diversion via National Highways and local authority network.
• A34, from 6am August 1 2022 to 11.59pm September 30 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound and southbound, Peartree Interchange, Lane closures on the exit slips for Oxfordshire County Council works.
And a further three closures will begin over the next seven days:
• A34, from 8pm January 23 to 6am January 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Botley, slip road and lane closures for electrical work, diversion via National Highways network.
• M40, from 9pm January 23 to 6am January 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 9 to junction 8a, Lane closures for maintenance work.
• A34, from 9.30pm January 29 to 5am January 30, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 8a, entry slip road closure for maintenance work, diversion via National Highways Network and Local authority roads.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
