Two schools will be partially closed today due to heating failures.
Slade Nursery School and Wood Farm Primary School, both in Oxford, will be closed for the morning today whilst heating repairs are made.
Slade Nursery School announced on the Oxfordshire County Council website that children will be attending school in the afternoon at staggered times.

Wood Farm Primary stated it plans to reopen at 11am today, once the emergency repairs have been completed.
In mid-December last year two other schools had to shut for the day due to no heating and boiler failure.
St Nicholas’ Primary and Nursery School in Oxford and Five Acres Primary School in Ambrosden, near Bicester, had to close some of their classes due to the failures.
Oxfordshire County Council was notified at the time, and parents were contacted directly to advise them of the closure.
