RICKY OTTAWAY, 33, care of Honeysuckle Way, Ambrosden, pleaded guilty to driving a BMW in Ardley while over the drug driving limit for cannabis. He was fined £120, banned from driving for a year and ordered to pay £88 in costs and surcharge.
JAMES KENNINGHAM, 37, of Bristow Close, Bletchley, pleaded guilty to causing a man actual bodily harm in Bicester on July 10, 2020. He was fined £440, ordered to pay £500 in compensation and must pay £129 in costs and surcharge.
DAVID BARON, 32, of Oakwood Way, Cumnor, was convicted of harassment and breach of a non molestation order by sending emails, making telephone calls and turning up the woman’s home. He was sentenced to seven months’ imprisonment suspended for two years, with 120 hours of unpaid work and a requirement to complete the Building Better Relationships course with the probation service. A restraining order bans him from contacting his victim except through solicitors or by arrangement set by the family courts. He was ordered to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £154 victim surcharge.
TIMOTHY BAYLEY, 46, of Churchward Close, Grove, admitted drink driving a grey VW Polo on Marcham Road, Abingdon. Tests showed he was around twice the drink-drive limit, blowing 72mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was fined £250, banned from driving for 18 months and was ordered to pay £185 in costs and surcharge.
CRAIG SIMMS, 52, of St Peters Close, South Newington, admitted drink driving a Ford Transit on Portland Place, Chipping Norton. He blew 86mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was ordered to do 80 hours of unpaid work, banned from the roads for three years and ordered to pay £199 in costs and surcharge.
CHRISTOPHER BRADY, 54, of Orchard Way, Oxford, admitted drink driving a red Nissan X-Trail on the A40 at Wheatley. Tests showed he had 104mcgs of alcohol in his breath, almost exactly three times the legal limit. He was fined £769, disqualified from driving for two years and ordered to pay £393 in costs and surcharge.
AALIYAH LANGDON, 20, of Hunter Avenue, East Hanney, admitted racially-aggravated threatening behaviour in Abingdon. She was fined £120 and ordered to pay £100 in compensation.
CELESTINO SEBASTIAO, 52, of Whitby Road, Ruislip, was found guilty of failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis and failing to comply with a roadside breath test. She was banned from driving for 32 months, must complete a 120 day alcohol abstinence requirement and comply with a six month mental health treatment requirement. The magistrates ordered he pay £495 in costs and surcharge.
CHERISH CURTIS, 26, of Longworth, near Abingdon, pleaded guilty to assaulting a man by beating. The magistrates imposed a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered the payment of £107 in costs and surcharge.
DOMINIC BROWN, 48, of Hurst Road, Oxford, admitted stealing £15-worth of alcohol from the Co-op and assaulting a man by beating him. He was given a mental health treatment requirement and ordered to wear an alcohol abstinence monitoring tag for 120 days. He was ordered to pay £100 compensation to the victim of the assault and must pay £85 in prosecution costs.
MAX BRINKLEY, 20, Fellthorne, Radley, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Peugeot 107 on Oxford Road, Abingdon. He had 52mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was fined £220, banned from driving for a year and must pay £173 in costs and surcharge.
