A former military aircraft that flew missions in Oxfordshire is being restored at Silver Springs Regional airport in Nevada.
The aircraft, a General Dynamics EF-111A Raven 66-0047, was towed from the Cactus Air Force restoration area to take part in an open day at the premises late last year.

This airframe flew almost 40 missions in Operation Desert Storm with the 42nd Electronic Combat Squadron 66th Electronic Combat Wing from Upper Heyford, near Bicester.
It last served with the 85th Test and Evaluation Squadron at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.
