Drivers are being urged to drive carefully as an incoming cold spell could mean icy conditions on the roads.
The met office has reported colder weather conditions over the coming days and released information and advice on how to drive safely in colder conditions.

A met office spokesperson said: “There are some simple maintenance checks drivers can carry out on their cars to ensure it is well prepared for winter conditions.
“The main ones are checking all of the lights and bulbs as well as a tyre health check, a check of the wiper blades and a few regular under the bonnet checks should be carried out too.
“People should also carry a fully charged mobile phone with them, in case they get stuck somewhere.”
