FIREFIGHTERS rescued a cat after it became stuck behind a water heating cylinder and the wall.
The incident happened on Thursday morning (January 12) and an appliance from Rewley Road Fire Station was sent out to try and help the cat in distress.
After numerous attempts to try and coax the cat out from behind the cylinder, crews decided they would need to use an electric saw to remove part of the wall.

As soon as there was space, the cat jumped straight out and past the firefighter.
Commenting on the incident on Facebook, Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “As soon as there was a hint of light the cat sprang into action and flew past one of the Firefighters raising their heart rate ever so slightly…”
