The band Chumbawamba have turned down Jeremy Clarkson after he made an offer of £30,000 to use one of their songs in a trailer for his “new TV series”.
Boff Whalley, former lead guitarist of the ensemble that gave us Tubthumping, took to Twitter on Tuesday (January 10) to inform his followers that the band had rejected the offer from Clarkson’s team.

In the post, Mr Whalley wrote: “So anyway today we turned down £30,000 for our song to be used for a trailer for Jeremy Clarkson’s new TV series.
“I can’t tell you how much satisfaction that gave us.”
Lots of the band’s followers commented their support on the tweet.
Season two of Clarkson’s Farm, filmed in Chipping Norton, will be released on Friday, February 10.
