Now – over a quarter of a decade on – the OXBA chairman hopes the OXBA can continue to have a ‘positive impact’ on Oxfordshire’s business community, as well as helping to ‘promote excellence’ across all sectors.

Awards chairman Paul Lowe said: "Since 1994, the aOxford Mail: wards have championed businesses and those individuals who have made a positive impact in Oxfordshire.

“We’re very happy to welcome back some of our sponsors from 2022 and we are also very happy to announce seven new sponsors for 2023. It is always great to bring in new sponsors to the Awards, in order to inject new ideas and even new Award categories.

“Joining the sponsors for 2023 are, James Cowper Kreston, sponsor of The Business Person of the Year Award and Matthews Comfort, sponsor of The Young Business Person of the Year Award. Also joining is Nicholsons Lockhart Garratt, STL and Oxford Brookes Business School, sponsors of the Green, Technology Excellence and Purposeful Business Awards respectively.
