Bookshops in Oxfordshire have lined their window displays with Prince Harry’s memoir, but sales are off to a slow start.
Prince Harry’s memoir Spare hit bookshop shelves across the county today but the hype did not seem to have reached Oxford on Tuesday morning (January 10).
There were no queues outside the door of the Waterstones branch in Broad Street as the rain lashed down.
This was despite the fact staff had spent time creating a Prince Harry memoir display in the window of the store with posters encouraging customers to pick up the book half-price.

The book offers new details on the Royal family’s tense internal politics after revelations have been shared in days of promotional interviews with the prince.
Many of the details from the memoir have already been reported, however its release today will give the public a chance to get their hands on the full story.
The memoir currently ranks as the best-seller on Amazon’s U.S., U.K., Australian German and Canadian websites, according to Reuters.
