There are job opportunities at a new adventure play area set to open at Blenheim Palace this Spring.
Set inside its historic walled gardens, The Lost Garden will include quirky wooden structures, interactive water features, play trails and winding walkways which celebrate the Palace, its surrounding parkland and the natural world.
The new attraction includes a viewing platform, an interactive sensory garden walk, and an oversized kitchen garden-inspired secret play area - including giant carrots, sunflowers and plant pots.
At the centre of The Lost Garden will be a replica of Vanbrugh’s Grand Bridge and a large seating terrace overlooking the central water play feature.
An elevated Wilderness Play area featuring aerial walkways, rope bridges, tunnels and triple racing zip lines will appeal to older children and provide extensive views across the ‘Capability’ Brown landscaped parkland.

There will also be a refreshment kiosk with outdoor seating.
Among the new roles on offer are Deputy Guest Services Manager, Guest Services Supervisor, Adventure Play Host, Groundskeeper and Walled Garden Cleaner.
Blenheim Palace managing director Heather Carter, said: “The Lost Garden is the biggest new outdoor attraction we have created at Blenheim Palace and will provide a fun and exciting adventure play area for younger visitors from toddlers to teenagers.

The Lost Garden has been created by Norfolk-based CAP.Co design and built on site by Kidlington-based Kingerlee Ltd and is set to open to visitors in the spring of this year.
