THE body of a missing man from Bicester has been found near a stream in Piddington.
Christopher, 84, whose surname has not been revealed by police, was reported missing on Thursday, December 29.
He was last seen at about 10.30am in East Brook Close.
But it has now been confirmed that a body was located near a stream in the same village later that day.
This was following a search conducted by teams from Lowland Rescue Oxfordshire and the force.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “Although formal identification has not yet taken place, we believe this to be the body of missing person Christopher who was reported missing at around 10.30am on Thursday.
“His next of kin have been notified and are being offered support. The death is being treated as unexplained, but not suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
