Days of rain may have flooded paths around Witney Lake but it did create a beautiful photograph.

Witney Town Council issued a warning to walkers on Tuesday (January 3) that they could end up with wet feet or worse.

The council tweeted: "Please be aware that parts of the path around Witney Lake are not passable due to flooding.

"In some places the path is not distinguishable from the water and it is deeper than wellie level and therefore dangerous to try to walk through."
