SEVERAL cows blocked a motorway last week after the lorry transporting them lost control and rolled onto its side.
The incident happened on the M40 in Oxfordshire at about 4.45pm on Thursday, December 22.
A lorry lost control and rolled onto its side on the exit slipway for Oxford services.
This caused a number of cows being transported in the lorry to get free from the lorry, which caused disruption on the motorway.

It caused ‘significant disruption’ on the carriageway during rush-hour as officers closed the road in both directions overnight while the cows were collected.
Officers are now appealing for any witnesses or anyone who has dash-cam footage to contact Thames Valley Police quoting the reference number 43220573329.
