JAMES WALL, 32, of Halse Water, Didcot, pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order by texting and calling a woman. He received 20 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for two years, with a six month mental health treatment requirement and 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days. He must pay £200 in compensation. A restraining order prevents him from contacting the woman for five years.
JAMIE KAFKE, 36, of Mead Way, Kidlington, admitted being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle – a grey Jaguar. Tests showed he had 42mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath, where the legal limit is 35mcgs. He had been stopped in the village hall car park at Shipton on Cherwell in September. The district judge imposed a £500 fine, 10 penalty points and £285 in costs and surcharge.
JAMIE WORTHINGTON-HALE, 49, of no fixed address, was jailed for a total of 20 weeks after he admitted possession of a sword in a house in East Avenue, Oxford. He was resentenced to an earlier offence of possession of an offensive weapon and handling stolen goods.
KERRY TYRELL, 45, of St Michaels Way, Steventon, admitted failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis by police at the police station. The district judge imposed 40 hours of unpaid work, a 17 month driving ban and £199 in costs and surcharge.
SHARON PALGREEMAN, 31, of Rosebay Gardens, Headington, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Suzuki in London Road, Headington. Tests showed she was slightly more than twice the legal limit. She was fined £276, banned from the roads for 17 months and ordered to pay £195 in costs and surcharge.
LEE BROWN, 42, of Burford Road, Minster Lovell, was convicted of common assault, using violence to secure entry to a house in Farmers Close, Witney, and damaging a mug and bedroom wall. He was fined £666 and ordered to pay £317 in costs and surcharge.
OLIVER HEWITT, 20, of Stratford Drive, Eynsham, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Yamaha MT on the B4044 in April. Tests showed he had 89mlg of alcohol in 100ml of blood – where the limit is 80. Hewitt also admitted driving without a valid licence or insurance. He was disqualified from driving for three years, fined £450 and ordered to pay £130 in costs and surcharge.
VICTORIA HANSEN, 47, of Pitmaston Close, Banbury, was found guilty of fraud by false representation by dishonestly claiming to be entitled to use a Lloyds bank card. The value of the fraud was more than £700. She was fined £1,730, must pay £565.47 in compensation and was ordered to pay £933 in costs and surcharge.
DONNY SAM, 49, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to stealing £825-worth of clothing from John Lewis in Oxford’s Westgate Centre. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £412 in compensation. The magistrates imposed a £34 victim surcharge.
LEE ADAMS, 44, of Wood Street, Wallingford, admitted driving a Jaguar X-type on Craddock Road, Whitley, in April while disqualified from driving. He was given 12 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for a year and must pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
SIMON WEBB, 43, of Lockway, Drayton, admitted drug driving a white Citroen Nemo on the A417, East Challow, while over the limit for benzoylecgonine, a derivative of cocaine. He was fined £200, banned from driving for 16 months and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge.
