An artist has created a knitted Christmas post box topper to help raise money for a mental health charity.
A crocheter who goes by the name ‘I wonder who did that’ placed their knitted work – which includes Father Christmas, reindeer and a snowman – on top of a post box in Mallards Way, Bicester.

The artist, who wishes to remain anonymous, said: “We started making the toppers to make people smile.
“It seems to be working. We then added a donation flyer as people would stop and ask us if they could give us money to make them.
“I have been volunteering at BYHP for a few years now. The market asked us to make a Jubilee topper for Sheep Street a few months ago, which we did, and they gave a large donation to BYHP.”
