Cogges Manor Farm has been transformed with ghosts of Christmas past, present and future.

The Manor House has Dickensian surprises in all the nooks and crannies with somewhat spooky toys that look as though their owners have just popped out of the playroom 150 years ago.

Have a (red) nose around the historic Manor House, bustling with cheer and family craft activities, festively decorated as ‘A Christmas Carol’.

The dinner table is set with a festive Victorian feast, and spot the (slightly terrifying) Mr Ebenezer Scrooge himself upstairs.

And if you’ve been good, you can go and see Santa in his Grotto and get your early Christmas pressie.

Cogges is taking a break after the December 23 and opening its doors earlier than usual in 2023 on February 11 with a packed New Year programme.

Autumn Neagle, from Cogges, said: "Cogges is managed by a charity, the Cogges Heritage Trust and the whole team of staff and volunteers have worked incredibly hard to dress the Manor House and create a magical Christmas experience for people to enjoy.

"It’s been a challenge this year for many people, who are having to choose more carefully how to spend time as a family – but it’s all about coming together this Christmas."

Cogges Manor Farm is open weekdays from December 19-23 from 11am-2.30pm.
