A school has paid tribute to Max Sullivan-Webb who died last night after getting caught in flooding near Witney.
Max, who was also known as Max Weeden, was a student at Witney's Wood Green School for five years and left last summer.
Headteacher Sym Savage said: "He was a very likeable, charming young man with an engaging sense of humour. He was very good natured, polite, kind and had a sensitive side.
"Max had a wonderful imagination and artistic flair, particularly highlighted by the countless cartoons he produced.
"His infectious enthusiasm was delightful to behold. He had a lively and logical mind and was very quick to pick up ideas.
"He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his friends and by the staff. Our deepest sympathies are with his family."
