A WOMAN has died after being hit by a train in Oxfordshire, an inquest has heard.
Emily Hickman, 34, from Chipping Norton, died on November 30 this year at a level crossing in Kidlington.
The delivery driver was hit by a train at about 5.11pm.

Coroner Darren Salter, who opened the inquest into Ms Hickman’s death on Wednesday (December 14), said: “She was seen to walk onto the train tracks and the train driver sounded the horn but sadly she was unable to move out of the way and was hit by the train.”
After a post-mortem examination, the cause of death has been given as massive trauma.
A full inquest into Ms Hickman’s death will take place on April 19 next year.
