As the Christmas season gets into full swing, people will be doing their last minute shopping over the next week.

In Oxford, if you want to shop in the city centre then the most convenient place to park is the Westgate Centre.

However, the amount of people who will be travelling into the city for Christmas shopping often means the car park becomes full quickly.

These are all the locations where you can park if the Westgate Centre is full:

City centre:

  • Broad Street - parking currently unavailable
  • Gloucester Green car park
  • Oxford Train Station (Becket Street) - managed by First Great Western
  • Oxpens car park
  • St Giles (on-street parking) - managed by Oxfordshire County Council
  • Worcester Street car park

Outside the city centre:

  • Barn's Road car park - managed by Templars Square
  • Castle Car Park, Crowell Road - managed by Templars Square
  • Ferry Leisure Centre car park
  • Headington car park
  • Knights Car Park, Hockmore Street - managed by Templars Square
  • St Clement's car park
  • St Leonard's car park
  • Summertown car park
  • Union Street car park

Park and Ride sites:

  • Oxford Parkway Park and Ride
  • Pear Tree Park and Ride
  • Redbridge Park and Ride
  • Seacourt Park and Ride
  • Thornhill Park and Ride
