Police have issued a warning after a man tried to get a schoolgirl into a van.
The incident happened this morning (December 15) at around 8.35am and concerned a female student from The Warriner School in Bloxham.
The man reportedly asked the girl to get in the vehicle outside the school stating: “Come on it’s a taxi”.

The girl has told the police the vehicle in question is a 'white van, rusty all over with blacked out windows side and back, no writing on the sides of the van and had a taxi sign on top that looked to be fake''.
Thames Valley Police has said there will be additional high visibility police patrols around the school following the incident.
The force urged people to contact them if they have any concerns or information that you believe may assist in their investigation.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “If you were in the area and witnessed anything, or have any dashcam footage that you believe may assist us please get in touch and quote reference 43220562529.”
Enquiries are ongoing for the force to identify the vehicle and driver.
