Twenty five new affordable flats in two blocks have been built in Littlemore.
The one, two and three bed flats are reserved for key workers employed in Oxford.
Housing association GreenSquareAccord and developer Abbey Homes with Oxford City Council are providing 14 social rent homes and a further 11 will be available under through a shared ownership scheme.
The flats are in two three-storey apartment blocks.
Councillor Alex Hollingsworth, Oxford City Council cabinet member for planning and housing delivery, said: “Providing more affordable homes is one of our top priorities and we work with partners like GreenSquareAccord to help us deliver these.
"Oxford needs more affordable homes.

“The cost of housing plays a big part in entrenching inequality in Oxford and each home for social rent makes a vital, life-changing difference to people’s lives.
"Shared ownership helps key workers on to the property ladder and means they can afford to live in a city they would otherwise be priced out of.”
The new blocks, Hazelnut and Russet House, are just off the A4074 on Mogridge Drive.
Councillor Tiago Corais, who represents Littlemore Ward, said: “I would like to extend a warm welcome to the incoming residents and look forward to meeting them in due course.
"Littlemore has a great community spirit and is a lovely place to live but, like other parts of Oxford, we are in need of affordable homes.
"That is why I am delighted to see this new development in the ward I represent.”
