The family of one of four teenagers who died in a car crash on the Oxfordshire border at the weekend have released a moving tribute.
James Bowyer, 18, of Marsh Gibbon, near Bicester, died in the fatal traffic collision on the A422 Brackley Road, in Westbury, Buckinghamshire, on Sunday, when the car he was travelling in hit a tree.
The family statement said: "James was a wonderful son, brother and grandson.
"You have left a great void in our lives, your cheeky smile and sense of humour will be with us always.
"James loved his sports and was a good team player. He went to Buckingham School, then onto Cherwell College, where he successfully completed a motor sport mechanic course.
"He loved his job as a trainee panel beater and fitter apprentice. James was just about to go to college to gain more qualifications.
"THE BEST SON, with all our love, Mum, Dad, Gemma, Gran and Grandad."
