Some schools around Oxfordshire are closed today (Monday, December 12) due to bad weather.

The schools have shared information about their closure arrangements, including if home learning is provided, on the Oxfordshire County Council's emergency closure website. 

Burford School is closed to all students and staff on Monday, December 12 due to snow and ice.

Leafield Church of England Primary School is part open due to snow/ice on Monday, 12 December.

It is NOT closed but is opening at the later time of 10am today, due to icy roads in the surrounding area.

This is to enable staff and families to drive into school safely. 

Orion Academy in Oxford is part open due to staff sickness.

The school has had to close Sirius class today due to staff shortages caused by winter viruses.  Work will be set via Google Classrooms. 

The Cooper School in Bicester has closed due to a heating failure which meant it had to send students home.
