Oxfordshire looks just like a winter wonderland as an extreme cold snap hits the county.

Despite the freezing temperatures, Oxford Mail Camera Club members were quick to brave the chilly conditions to photograph an array of beautiful images.

From frost covered leaves to icy ponds and sombre sunsets, the cold spell has given photographers a new way to capture the charming identity of the county.

Earlier in the week, the Met Office issued a warning ahead of the Arctic conditions, which have seen parts of Oxfordshire drop to -4°C.

The warning is in place until Monday and the weather forecaster has urged people to look after those who are vulnerable and ensure they have adequate heating, food and access to hot drinks.
