The force said that officers were initially dealing with a crash which happened due to frozen conditions on the roads.
The officers were soon met by a driver whose windows were completed iced over due to the cold conditions.
The driver thought it was “ok” to travel with his windows in that condition, despite the fact it did not give him a clear view of the road.
He was handed a £100 fine and three penalty points were added to his licence.
