LEE JONES, 43, of Milton Road, Sutton Courtenay, admitted drink driving a Suzuki in Frilsham Street, Abingdon, in July. Tests showed he had 146mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath, around four times the legal limit. He was given 20 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for a year and a half with a mental health treatment and alcohol treatment requirement.

ADAM BLACHUT, 42, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to being drunk in charge of a Mitsubishi in Horspath Road, Oxford, in April. Tests showed he had 182mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath, more than five times the legal limit. He received 12 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for a year and must pay a £154 victim surcharge.

STEPHEN GILLESPIE, 60, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to burglary by entering Kebab King in George Street with intent to steal a shoulder bag and £930 in cash. He also admitted attempting to steal money from the till and a charity pot at the Alice’s Shop in St Aldates. He was jailed for 16 weeks, with the court record noting he had a ‘flagrant disregard’ for people and their property.

CRAIG WALTON, 44, of Divinity Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Ford Transit in Atkyns Road, Wood Farm. Tests showed he was almost three times the limit. He also admitted driving the van without a valid licence or insurance. The magistrates imposed a community order with up to 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days and banned him from driving for 23 months. He must pay £85 in costs.

DAMIEN LYNCH, 40, of Whitworth Road, Swindon, admitted stealing £423-worth of alcohol from Tesco in Faringdon. He was jailed for four weeks, with the court register noting that he had a ‘flagrant disregard for court orders’ and was ‘operating as a professional criminal’. He must pay a £154 victim surcharge.

WILLIAM STUBBS, 20, of Itchen Abbas, near Winchester, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Ford Fiesta on the B4425 at Westwell. He had 45mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35. He was fined £150, banned from driving for 14 months and ordered to pay £145 in costs and surcharge.

DANIELLE TUMMOND-MCKENNA, 22, of Hastoe Park, Aylesbury, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer in Abingdon in July. She must pay £50 in compensation.

ADAM WELLS, 34, of Springfield Avenue, Banbury, was found guilty of driving a BMW 435D dangerously in Warwick Road, Banbury, last July. He must do 200 hours of unpaid work, was banned from driving for 15 months and ordered to pay £870 in costs and surcharge.

DARREN SMITH, 36, of Evans Way, Chipping Norton, pleaded guilty to sending malicious texts  and voicemail messages on October 4, growing 14 cannabis plants and having a ‘zombie’ knife at his home. He was given a six month mental health rehabilitation programme as part of a community order and must pay £199 in costs and surcharge.

CHARLENE FAULKNER, 36, of Blackditch, Stanton Harcourt, admitted drink driving a Citroen C3 on the B4449 Eynsham Road. She was fined £340, banned from driving for 17 months and must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.
