DEAN MCALLISTER, 26, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of blood in February, having been stopped on suspicion of a traffic offence. He also admitted failing to attend an earlier court hearing. He was jailed for 18 weeks and banned from driving for five years.
RAJITHA DE SILVA, 37, of Trinity Road, Chipping Norton, admitted drink driving a Ford Focus on the A361 Bloxham Road, Banbury, on May 26. Tests showed the driver had 172mlgs of alcohol in 100ml of blood, a little more than twice the legal limit of 80mlgs. The magistrates imposed a £350 fine, a 20 month driving disqualification and ordered they pay £120 in costs and surcharge.
MADALIN-ALIN MIRODONIE, 28, of Easington Road, Banbury, admitted drink driving a Fiat Punto on Banbury High Street on October 1. Tests showed the driver had 46mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. The magistrates imposed a £120 fine, 12 month driving disqualification and £133 in costs and surcharge.
PETER WALLINGTON, 30, of Fane Drive, Berinsfield, was convicted of breaching a restraining order by going to a property in Falcon Drive, Didcot, in October. He was jailed for six months by the district judge and must pay a £154 victim surcharge.
GWYN JONES, 56, of Glyme Close, Woodstock, was found guilty of using threatening behaviour against two people in Woodstock last November. He must do 40 hours of unpaid work and pay £495 in costs and surcharge.
NAILA ALWI-ABUBAKER, 47, of Roman Road, Wheatley, pleaded guilty to three counts of racially aggravated threatening or disorderly behaviour. The offences were committed in Oxford on May 16, 2021. He was given a community order with a drug rehabilitation programme and must pay £85 in costs.
LOUIS CONGRATEL, 19, of Charlton Horethorne, Dorset, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Voi e-scooter in St Clements, Oxford, on May 1. Tests showed he had 247mlgs of alcohol in 100ml of urine. The limit is 107mlgs. He was fined £120, banned from driving for 20 months and must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.
STEVEN TOMKINSON, 43, of Freelands Road, Oxford, admitted damaging a CCTV camera at John Radcliffe Hospital in April. He was ordered to pay £323 in compensation – the cost of the damage he did to the camera.
HOWARD THOMPSON, 50, of The Street, Crowmarsh Gifford, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Astra in Benson while over the drug-driving limit for benzoylecgonine, a metabolite of cocaine, and cannabis. He was fined £120, banned from driving for a year and must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.
TAFARI DURRANT, 19, of Greenham Avenue, Reading, admitted using threatening behaviour against a man in Oxford in September. He was ordered to do 80 hours of unpaid work and the thinking skills course, as well as pay £85 in costs.
ABDUR RAHMAM, 22, of Reynell Road, Manchester, pleaded guilty to driving a VW Polo in the Old Abingdon Road, Oxford, without a valid licence or insurance. He also had a small amount of cannabis, admitting personal possession. He was fined £333 and given six penalty points. He must pay a further £218 in costs and surcharge.
DANIEL WALSH, 30, of Woodstock Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting three police officers or detention officers at Abingdon police station on October 31. He was given 14 days imprisonment.
TERRANCE ANTHONY, 46, of St Peters Avenue, Caversham, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Seat Leon on Henley High Street in May. Tests showed he had 96mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was banned from driving for two years and ordered to do 100 hours of unpaid work. He must pay £895 in costs and surcharge.
