Flowers have been left near the scene of the latest alleged murder to rock the county’s streets.
On Wednesday night, at least nine bouquets of red, purple and pink flowers could be seen attached to railings near the children’s play area off Wood Farm Road.
Also fixed to the railings was a Christmas-style wreath made from conifer branches and holly leaves tied into a circle.

It followed the death of a 59-year-old man on Wednesday morning. He was found in the park shortly after 6am in a ‘critical condition’, having suffered a wound to his head.
The man, who has not been identified, was taken to hospital but later died.
Detectives investigating the alleged attack have arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of murder.
