A DELIVEROO driver was seriously injured in a hit and run crash in Oxford last Friday.
Thames Valley Police said that at around 9.20pm on Friday, November 25, a black VW Golf hit a black Deliveroo moped in Union Street.
The rider of the moped suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.
The VW Golf did not stop at the scene and is described as being Mk6 (2009-2013) and sustained damage to its front including losing the VW badge.

The police are now looking for witnesses following the incident.
Investigating officer PC Ruan Brink, from Abingdon police station, said: “We are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident to please come forward.
“Further, if anyone has dash-cam footage that may help with the investigation, we’d ask that you get in touch.
“Anyone with information can make a report by calling 101 or via the Thames Valley Police website, quoting reference 43220532222.”
