Priests led a procession of 500 Catholics through the streets of Oxford to mark the Corpus Christi Procession.
Yesterday the worshippers started the procession at the Oratory, in Woodstock Road, and walked to the Chaplaincy, via Blackfriars.
Walkers, pictured, were given refreshments at the walk's end.
The festival of Corpus Christi celebrates the Eucharist as the body of Christ.
The procession involves carrying the consecrated wafer, used in communion, through the streets to demonstrate how the sacrifice of Christ was for the salvation of the world.
It is celebrated a week after Trinity Sunday and usually falls between late May and the middle of June.
