A drop-in meeting will be hosted by Network Rail tomorrow to give residents and businesses details on station improvements and the Botley Road closure.
Last month, it emerged that the multi-million pound scheme to improve Oxford railway station will close Botley Road in Oxford for a year.
The county council and Network Rail have agreed that closing the road from January to December at Botley Road rail bridge is the best course of action.

In September, Network Rail announced that there would be an initial 14-week closure starting from November 12.
But now an unprecedented year-long closure has been announced, starting in January, so that contractors are given an uninterrupted period of time to complete all the work they need to before Christmas 2023.
The drop-in meeting will be at West Oxford Community Centre on Thursday, from 1pm to 5pm.

Network Rail says it will be an opportunity for people to find out more about the plans and speak to project team leaders.
So far, Network Rail have said the 12-month closure period will cover the demolition of Station Grill and the youth hostel, the rerouting of utility cables, the replacement of the rail bridge and the start of construction of the new western entrance of the station.
While the Botley Road will be closed at the rail bridge in both directions, traffic will still be able to access shops and businesses along Botley Road.
The year-long closure is expected to start on January 9.
In a letter to residents and businesses ahead of the drop-in event, David Paull, of Network Rail, said: "Under our original proposal, we would have been working on the road for 18 months, which would have seen the majority of work done with a single lane closed and several short periods of full closures.
"As it is well known in Oxford, a long period of a single lane operation on Botley Road can cause significant traffic disruption. It would also have severely disrupted bus services in the area.
"Therefore we have been asked by Oxfordshire County Council to look at if we could finish quicker by working with a full road closure and we concluded that the time required could be reduced by six months."
Mr Paull said in the letter 'the most likely scenario' was for the road under the bridge to be closed to all vehicles, apart from emergency services, for 12 months from January to December.
It is expected that a turning circle for buses will be created once Station Grill has been demolished.
