A SPONSORED run on June 28 along the 86-mile Ridgeway long distance footpath could raise £20,000 for disabled horse-riders.
Catherine Duff, 47, from Little Ragnell, Faringdon, is doing the run in memory of her father, who was treasurer of the Clwyd Special Riding Trust, and for the Abingdon group of Riding for the Disabled.
She has previously done a marathon and half-marathon and a 56-mile run in South Africa, but the Ridgeway is her longest run.
